HOW IT WORKS
Jury Duty players are invited to join other players at a central London office location to take part in a new form of jury service. Live actors greet them and will assist, but not guide, their deliberations.
Players are presented with physical evidence, sworn statements, and a computer database relating to a fictional crime.
Players interrogate a Defendant several times, and are encouraged to cross-reference with the evidence.
When the time is up, players are asked to vote on their verdict!
Where is Jury Duty?
Jury Duty is performed live at Theatre Deli, 107 Leadenhall Street, London, EC3A 4AF.
How many people can play Jury Duty?
Each game is for 14 people. If you book a group ticket, then the game is yours and you can play with up to 13 friends! If you book individual tickets you will try to crack the case as a team with other fellow Jurors who may have booked the same time slot.
How long does Jury Duty last?
Jury Duty lasts 90 minutes.
Can I play Jury Duty more than once?
Once you have played Jury Duty, you will know what really happened and so we don't recommend playing twice. However, our other shows The Inquest and The Office Christmas Party are available for private bookings.
Are there any age restrictions?
Children under the age of 13 need to be accompanied by an adult over 18. The game involves discussion of murder and arson.
Can we hold private events or larger bookings at Jury Duty?
Of course! For further information regarding larger booking sizes of over 15 please contact us.
Is Jury Duty wheelchair accessible?
Yes - Jury Duty is fully accessible as a game. Please contact us to inform us of any particular access requirements ahead of booking so we can ensure you have the best experience possible. If there is anything we can do to make your visit more comfortable, please let us know.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You do not need to print your ticket, just give your booking name at the door.
What are the terms and conditions of my ticket?
Please refer to the Terms and Conditions section of the design my night website.
Does the bar take cash or card?
The venue bar has the ability to take both cash and card for payments.
Can I purchase a ticket as a gift?
Please note that we do not offer open-dated tickets. All bookings to Jury Duty require a selected date so please be certain before purchasing. We also cannot guarantee that tickets brought as gifts will be exchangeable if the recipient is not available in the allotted time.
Are there any special effects that I should be aware of?
There are no special effects to be aware of in Jury Duty.
Can I play in a group?
Tickets are purchased individually and all players attending for the same time slot will play together. You will be mixed with other players who have bought tickets for the same show. For an entirely private show, contact us via our website.
How interactive is this?
As it's performed by experienced immersive theatre actors, Jury Duty will respond to how you approach it as players. The facts of the case stay the same, but how you discover them may reflect what you do. At its heart, Jury Duty is a show about talking to a man on trial - you will get the chance to question a real actor playing that character. His fate will be in your hands.
Do I have to participate?
Jury Duty can be played at any level you're comfortable with. There's room for jurors who want to ask lots of questions and dive into the detail, as well as those who'd prefer to sit back and observe. If you wish to attend and simply watch and listen, you are welcome to - though we highly encourage you to use your vote at the end.
